The kittens come with papers to be submitted for registration. At times during the year, we offer a $100 discount on a second kitten. This offer may not be combined with the offer to ship 2 kittens at the same time with no additional shipping expense for the second kitten. This offer is generally available to those picking up their kittens from our location. We do not charge extra when shipping 2 kittens of the same litter at the same time. When 2 kittens of the same litter are shipped together, the airline does not charge more, however, the second kitten also needs a veterinarian examination, health certificate, and rabies shot if 12 weeks or older. DONAMAE CATTERY PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR BENGAL AND OCICAT KITTENS. 1. POLICY OF DEPOSITS: The Kitten will be held for the purchaser and not sold to any other buyer until the balance due date. For this reason, the $100.00 deposit is NOT refundable.2. HEALTH GUARANTEE: The cat/kitten is guaranteed in good health at the time of the sale, to the best of our knowledge. This cat/kitten comes from a Leukemia free cattery. You may have the cat/kitten tested within the first three days of purchase for your own verification at your own expense. Our kittens come with their up to date immunizations, not including rabies which is the option of the buyer. The cattery liability is limited to a replacement kitten, and does not include any veterinarian fees. Under most circumstances, if one of our kittens should die before the kitten is one year old, we will replace the kitten. The kitten must be kept indoors and not vaccinated for FIP. Excluded is accidental death, a widespread feline epidemic. *Kittens sold with breeding rights are excluded from the one year health guarantee. You have 3 days, if you choose to take your kitten for a veterinarian examination, and if you are not satisfied you may return the kitten for a full refund. The typical veterinarian cost is $35. We do not pay veterinarian fees of any kind. Should there be a health problem, don't ask us to pay any part of the bill for treatment. If you treat the kitten it is your decision at your expense, remember all you need pay for is the examination fee and you may return the kitten for a full purchase price refund during the first 3 working days of having the kitten. *KITTENS SOLD WITH BREEDING RIGHTS. The kitten must be quarantined for 3 days, or until returned for a refund. If you have your veterinarian examine the kitten and the kitten is not in good health, the kitten may be returned for a full refund. We do not pay veterinarian fees of any kind. The veterinarian examination must occur not after 3 days from purchasing the kitten. Any kitten sold with breeding rights has this very restricted health guarantee, and any kitten sold with breeding rights is excluded from replacement. A kitten sold with breeding rights must be returned within 3 working days if it has received an unfavorable health report from your veterinarian. Breeding rights are more expensive. 3. Return Policy after 3 days. If within the first 14 days of ownership, and the purchaser is not fully satisfied, the purchaser may return the undamaged cat/kitten, papers, unused registration form, and book, for a 75% of the purchase price. Kittens sold as breeders may not be returned after 3 days. 4. TERMS OF PAPERS BY T.I.C.A (Bengal's) or CFA and/or T.I.C.A for the Ocicats. The litter has been registered. An application with instructions for "registration of cat of a registered litter" are furnished to the buyer, and must be mailed by the buyer with the appropriate registration fee. The following is used for bengal and ocicat kittens only. A kitten sold as a pet or show alter must be spayed or neutered by 9-12 months of age. Buyer agrees to these terms by signing contract. For Serval and Savannah kittens we give an exit veterinarian health exam after the sale and before the kitten leaves our cattery. We do this to make sure the kitten is healthy before leaving us. DEPOSIT AGREEMENT A NONREFUNDABLE deposit of ½ the price of the kitten will hold the kitten until the balance due date. The remaining balance is due, in full, before the kitten is shipped. Failure to pay off the balance by the due date will result in forfeiture of the deposit and the kitten. The kitten will then be relisted as available. Balance Due Date _________________
To the best of our knowledge, the kitten is in good health at the time of sale, and seller has taken every precaution to insure the kitten is free from disease. The kitten will receive the first of its vaccination series, and be seen by a licensed veterinarian before departing the sellers care. Vaccination and medical records will be provided to the buyer. Seller strongly encourages the buyer to obtain an examination from an independent licensed veterinarian within 3 days, of receipt of the kitten, for their own verification. If a major health problem is found to exist at that time, seller will, upon receipt of the kitten and a written statement from the buyers veterinarian, replace the kitten with one of equal value as soon as one becomes available. No money will be refunded. Seller is not responsible for veterinarian bills incurred by the buyer once the kitten is delivered to the buyer. If the veterinarian discovers this kitten is not as herein guaranteed, the buyer must contact the seller immediately. The buyer must provide a full written explanation from a licensed board certified veterinarian as to the illness that has been determined and the means of determination. It is the sellers right to ask for the kitten returned before buyer receives a relacement. Should the buyer decide to keep the kitten, doing so releases the seller from any and all responsibility, medical or otherwise. The seller strongly encourages the buyer to quarantine the kitten for the first few weeks in its new home and to follow the take home care instructions for a minimum of two weeks. It is the buyers responsibility, at the buyers expense, to provide immediate veterinary care to any kitten showing signs of illness or distress. Failure to do so will render the guarantee null and void. This kitten is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of delivery. REGISTRATION for Savannahs. A litter registration application has been submitted for this litter. The seller will supply the buyer with the individual registration papers. It is the buyers responsibility to individually register the kitten. Registration is either with TICA or IPCBA or both. (There is no registration body for serval cats.) RECEIPT OF YOUR KITTEN Kittens may be shipped at 8 to 12 weeks of age. (Time frame will be soley dependent upon kittens health, development and maturity.)
