Subject: BENGAL - PICTURES OF ISABELLA   (I have misplaced the e mail with the pictures, but the letter is priceless):

Dona,
Per our conversation today on the phone I wanted to send you a few pictures of my baby and to let you know that she is doing wonderful.  She turned a year old last Wednesday, Feb. 11.  Attached are some pictures that I have taken of her throughout the last year, most of them recent.

Captions in picture order :
Bella Hanging Out with the canine gang.   "Mmm as soon as she walks away I think I will eat that blanket"
Bella Yawning after waking up from one of her beauty naps  "Oh it is so good to be me"
Bella posing for her portfolio      "I know, I know, I am gorgeous, what can I say"
Bella showing her teeth,     " I big scary monster"
Bella doing laundry     "Are we having fun yet"
Bella showing off her flexibility after waking up from a nap     "Would you like to join me in some Yoga"
Bella fell asleep on a magazine,   "Sure is exhausing work shopping through all those catalogs.  Just can't seem to find the the right toy"
Bella on cat tree,   "Bella mad, Maggie will not give up the top perch, I swing my tail really hard.  I'll attack when mom goes into the other room, just watch and see, I'll have that top perch in no time."

A few tidbits on Bella:

She loves the canine kids and hides behind corners when she hears them coming and then jumps up and bats them on their face and runs off as quickly as she can - so cute.   The dogs just look at her like she's nuts.  They are very patient with her and they allow her to do whatever she wants to them.  She climbs all over them when they are laying down and they just close their eyes and wait for her to move on to something else, hopefully sooner than later, I'm sure.

My other cat and her get along OK - most of the time.  They have their little spats, but nothing serious.  Mostly just Bella wanting to play and Maggie not being in the mood.  Most of the time you can find them either sleeping together or running through the house really fast, one chasing the other and it is usually Bella chasing Maggie.

She likes water, unfortunately.  If I have the kitchen sink faucet on she will come running from wherever she is in the house to inspect the water going down the drain.  For some reason she is fascinated by this.  She will get in the sink while the water is running and paw at the water going down the drain.  Also, if you don't shut the shower door right away after you are done taking a shower she likes to get into it and lay down on the wet floor.  She doesn't particularly like being drenched, I know this because she fell in my bath water - with me in it, but she does like getting a little damp.  Needless to say, unfortunately, the spray bottle doesn't work too well.  I swear I can actually see her smiling at me - little brat.

She greets everybody at the door and loves people.  She thinks everybody that comes over has come to see her, and if they didn't, rest assured they soon will be.....

My boyfriend is not a huge cat lover, likes them, but is more of a dog lover.  He has changed his mind with Bella.  In fact he can't leave her alone.

I feed her, along with my other cat, only moist food.  They both get Evo by Innova because it is the closest to raw and seems to have the best ingredients, as well as the best combination of protein, fat, fiber and moisture.  Occasionally I will mix it up for variety and get a few cans of Felidae, which in my opinion is the second best.

Isabella is a wonderful cat and I am so glad I have her.  She has brought me so much joy in such a short time.  She has a wonderful home and is very loved by us all, including the other fur kids.   She will always be well taken care of and will be the pampered princess of the house, not that I have any choice - she is a bengal - enough said....

I do hope that you and your husband are doing well and when I am ready for an Ocicat I will certainly be giving you a call.

Take care and God bless,

Tony and Denali named their kitten Loki and say he is doing fine. He sleeps with them and gets along great with their older cat.  (Remember that every cat in your home must be properly vaccinated since many feline diseases can be passed from one cat to another). They are satisfied that Loki is well trained and uses the litter box with no problem.

Tammy called a couple days ago to say her Sassy is definitely pregnant, the big stud Shad rack has done it again!  We hope the kittens are lovely and lots of them. Will keep you up to date on this.        Update: Sassy had 4 lovely kittens on May 7, but had a rough time and the vet had to help. Mom says no more kittens for Sassy, but the kittens are great. We will be getting one of these to make available on our site to you all.

Valerie and Tammy say their little female is named Priscilla's Desert Sky, and they call her Sky for short. She is doing fine, and is "a ball of fire". They got the only female from a litter of 8. We could have placed her 4-5 times over! Some times it is wise to get a deposit down on the kitten you want, like they did, when she was 2 weeks old.

7/3/01  Kim writes that "Gizmo" who was purchased in March, from Jasmine's litter is wanting a playmate. Kim  has been watching the site and has picked out a "real" brother from the same parents. Way to go KIM!!!

We recently had negotiations from California  and Florida for kittens. Isn't the internet great?

Watch the site-- new kittens coming on soon from Sedona, Katy and Sheba are already born. If you want to see them ahead of time, just let us know. A deposit will hold your choice till it is old enough. Remember our Special this month, $100 off on the second kitten purchased at the same time. We got lucky with our litters and decided to pass it on to you!

I must say..... I was surprised and amazed when I laid eyes on Leo. Those pictures just don't do him justice. Leo is a natural beauty... and his personality matches.

He is so loving (He even groomed me already) and he is so content. He rode home from the airport in that cage, slept the whole way. When we got him home he had a good stretch and checked us all out. He is so relaxed and sweet. Completely opposite of his half brother who, I might add, runs around the house full speed.

Leo loves being touched. He has curled up and slept on everyone in the house...  I am so in love with these kitties..

Thank you so much - Give ol' Shad a pat on the back for me - he has created some fine little works of art!

And thank you for being so patient with me, and sending me the most beautiful brothers I have ever seen.

I will keep in touch!

K.

(We shipped her two Bengal Kittens)
