Rescue Bengals and Ocicats.
If at some time you find yourself unable to care for your cat, purchased
from our cattery, you can return the cat to us and we will find a new home.
Please do not consider organizations that kill a significant number of the cats
brought to them—especially the Humane Society. A cat turned out to roam the
streets will have a short life.
We do not ship rescue cats or retired breeders. They are
sold for very little money and it is easy to place them locally.
It is a lot of work for us, vet visits, health certificates, a
60 mile round trip to the airport etc. It is a service we do for
buyers of our kittens.
At this time we are accepting Bengals and Ocicats and savannah cats in
need of rescue. This is on a space avliable basis. Cats accepted must be healthy and must have the appearance
and
characteristics of the breed. They also must be friendly!!! It is difficult to
place cats that people have let go wild. I have a hard time stepping on a
cricket, and would never put a healthy cat to sleep. So what do I do with them?
I feed them and take care of them, for you since you have let them get un
sociable. This may sound harsh, but--- If you think so, I have 4 right now that
I am unable to handle, rescue cats, and you are welcome to come and take them.
We charge the person who adopts a rescue a fee. It varies
with the condition and age of the cat, its social skills, and
appearance. This is not a money maker, but it does help to fund
the food, vaccinations, and care needed by the rescue cats.
